Blessed Anne Marie Javouhey the Foundress of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Cluny wrote in one of her letters “I have Promised God to give myself wholly to the service of the sick and the instruction of the little children.” True to her vision we cater to the children of all classes and creed, and nurture in them convictions about the sacredness of life, their own and of the world around. Anne Marie Javouhey our Foundress was a real visionary in the field of education. She said “Love the children, bring them up well. They are our Future. “Our Goal is to inculcate in every child a sound human foundation for the development of each person in his/ her uniqueness through integrated physical, intellectual, emotional, moral, spiritual and cultural growth in order to equip each child to collaborate with others in bringing about a civilization of love.
The aim of the institution is to impart an all round education based on Christian principles and values. Great care is taken to give a sound moral training to the pupils through religious and moral instruction classes and instill in them a love for prayer and Work as spelt out in the School Motto. Efforts are made to awaken in the pupils sincere concern and love for the poor and under privileged. They are also motivated to cherish the cultural heritage of our motherland.
The medium of instruction is English. The academic year is from June to April. There are three vacations during the year; Dasara, Christmas and Summer.
The course of studies is arranged according to the syllabus laid down by the Department of Education, Karnataka State.
Extra Curricular activities which enable pupils to get an all round formation, are given a place in the timetable. Pupils are encouraged to take part in inter- school and college competitions organized by the Department and various clubs, schools & colleges.
